I for one am looking forward to this. When QT has made first episodes of TV shows they’ve been great (I’m not aware of any counter-examples…) The JJ movies completely missed the point of trek and I didn’t even bother to watch the third one. This has a chance of being great. ---

I know Machete isn’t QT strictly speaking, but Grindhouse (also not a QT only movie, I know) was what I was drawing on when I thought \*Machete=Sulu \* Would Cherry Darling be a good rescued borg drone ala Seven of Nine? ---
