# Wrote "101 Things to...etc.." type list - getting it published?

Hey all…first time writer here. I’ve put together a 101 Ways to Improve Your Life and Relationship list and think that it would be a really good bathroom / small size flip book. Not looking to go after Stephen King’s position or anything, but it’s a funny and thought provoking read IMHO.

I know NOTHING about publishing / copywrites / getting started and would appreciate ANY pointers or advie you could give me on getting it published. What do I do? Do I copyright it? How do I get it “out there”?

Are there any humor specialty publishers that do the sort of thing i’m describing? Small size, quick read type things?

Much thanks to all in advance… again, I don’t know anything at all about this so am grateful to any that reply…

Check a copy of Writer’s Market, maybe under Humor or “Other” or greeting-card-type markets. You can even access it online at [writersmarket.com](http://writersmarket.com), if you want to play a fee.

Biggest tip: Never pay to get your work published. Money flows _toward_ the writer.
