Doper Shooters, I would like to buy a Colt AR-16 SP-1 rifle or carbine. Or just the lower and upper receivers. I really want a ‘slick side’ (no forward-assist) Colt fixed-stock CAR-15, but I want to keep my 1979 SP-1 AR-15 as a rifle. I can offer as partial payment an ‘A2’ collapsing stock carbine I built, if that’s attractive to anyone. Why not just put a fixed stock on that one? Because I prefer the non-forward assist upper, and I’d rather have a Colt for the collection. If I can’t get a CAR-15, then I can put a 16" barrel on the rifle version. ---
