IIRC the morphine was for something unrelated to pain like preventing convulsions or something. Of course people don’t care to look at the nuance of the situation. ---

Tuckerfan, I do not believe De Bad Lay’s remarks actually meant anything, in the sense you or I mean things, but instead is just a way for him to give a nod of approval to those who project their own faults onto the opposition, and use the most ridiculous rhetoric to support their “positions.” ---

Even if his and DeLay’s comments were meant in a “rhetorical” fashion, it’s _damned_ dangerous for them to say such things, don’t you think? Given the fact that Eric Rudolph was whacking people _before_ you had fucktards like DeLay calling for clearly unconstitutional actions, and hinting at graver consequences to follow, it seems reasonable to me that this is going to add further justification to those who’d take the law into their own hands. Clearly what is **not** needed at this time. ---

I should have used stronger language to make my point, given that this is the pit. Tuckerfan, **I agree with each and every word you said.** As I see it, Coultier makes the most outrageous statements, which may be serious, or may simply be meant to polarize, wackos hear them, and Delay nods his approval. ---

I DO vote, don’t you worry. OTOH, remember the supposedly “energized” youth vote that was going to turn out in record numbers for Kerry (or at least against Bush :rolleyes: ) in the last election?
