# WTF is wrong with England this "summer"?

1.5 hours till the weekend and the weather up here is Gorgeous. So, in 1.4 hours I predict pissing rain, lasting for around 60 hours.

Well, I don’t know about Olde England, but at long last things are starting to look up in **New** England. There’s this weird bright yellow circle in the sky, and I’m no longer shivering.

It now turns out that all that flooding we had in June and July has contaminated our beaches. It’s something to do with sewerage and other contaminates getting into the rivers and then into the sea, thus mucking up the beaches. So, even if it’s fine this Bank Holiday and you go to the coast, you will probably catch something nasty on the beach. No, I’m not talking about the pox !

I remember an old Britich comedy movie. The hero made his living by being a subject in medical experiments. While he was being shown around the facility he was taken into a room where there was a big pile of ice on which water was being sprayed. Then big fans blew that icy water onto a bunch of people sitting in bleachers watching a movie of some sort of sporting event.
