# WTF is wrong with this guy's skull?

But that isn’t the subject of this thread. In the few seconds of video showing him, it fleetingly looks as if the entire right side of his head is caved in. Hard to tell because they never show a right profile- it almost looks like the camera is deliberately avoiding showing that side. If there are any other pictures available of him, I couldn’t find them.

Anyone?

Looks like a severe head injury. I’ve seen photos of another man with even more head missing.

Looks like he had part of skull removed. Typically done to relieve pressure on the brain from bleeding or swelling. Google craniectomy for more info.
