You’re missing the part when **Frankenstein Monster** said the US is now a fourth world country because we didn’t bus everyone out of the path of Katrina, but the Mexicans successfully bussed lots of tourists out of the path of their hurricane. So apparently the status of your country is directly related to how many people you can bus. This isn’t directed at you specifically, but I’m sick of people on these boards gleefully clapping their hands together and pronouncing America a third or fourth world country when these same people just a few months ago were crying, “America is the richest country in the world, why aren’t they paying more for the tsunamiiiiiii!!!” ---

Yeah, he engaged in a bit of hyperbole. So what? We’re still fucking this operation up big time. Why, for example, is it a good idea to actively keep aid _out_ of the city? What sort of deranged thought process leads to that conclusion? ---
