_80s_? Cripes, I saw it on telelvision _last night_. I remember vaguely thinking I couldn’t believe they hadn’t at least _updated_ the damn advert by now. 😕

I thought that was supposed to be Bucky’s version of a ninja outfit, and he was sneaking up on Satchel, but kept tripping over things in the dark – his plans, as usual, going awry.

I still think the Slapper is better than the Clapper. On the old Animaniacs cartoon, one of the characters was a short-tempered old squirrel named Slappy the Squirrel (she had a nephew named Skippy).
Anyhow, they did a segment where it was a commercial for the Slapper. Someone would annoy her, she’s clap twice, and a giant hand on a spring would fly out of the wall and swat someone into the floor.
Slap on _WHAM_
Slap off! _WHAM_
The Slapper! _WHAM_
