# WV's Gorge?

What’s the name of the famous gorge in WV that many people compare to something typically found out west? I think it is on the back of the WV state quarter.

As noted in the wiki article, the bridge there is one of the premiere B.A.S.E. Jumping/extreme sport spots in the country. This year’s [Bridge Day](http://www.officialbridgeday.com/) is on October 16th.

Just to clarify. Bridge Day is the ONLY day of the year that it is legal to B.A.S.E. jump off of the bridge. Doing so at any other time will earn you a citation.
