As much as I’d hate to admit it, I am going to WWF Smackdown tonight. It goes against all my intelligence, but I can’t help it… I love the stuff! I am a WWF addict… there I said it. I feel much better now. I have debated if I should post this thread all day, but I know there are some other closet WWF lovers out there. You know who you are!! Come out and give me some support damnit!

I’m considring going to. I’ve been to one live Rasslin show before, but it wasn’t nearly as elaborate as a typical WWF event.
I’m also planning on seeing some Monser trucks this weekend. I’m getting in touch with my inner redneck!

You think you’re bad, I had a party to watch WWF on PPV. Not even in person. Pay. Per. View. A PARTY. Sad, sad life. We wanted to go to No Mercy (Albany’s my town), we were supposed to get free tickets for an hour of work which is what we did to get Dixie Chicks tickets in July (incidentally, teh day of the Chicks concert was the day the WWF tickets went on sale), but the promoters only wanted two of us and there are three in my group, and we are too cohesive to leave one person out. The other two would feel guilty all night. So we gave our freeness to some other lucky people and stayed home to pay the exorbitantly high PPV rent…

I have wanted to have a PPV party here too, but alas, I cannot find any of my buddies to split everything with me. The damn PPV is so expensive, I would love to invite people over and have them split it with me, considering that I know I’m gonna break down and buy the thing anyway.
As for favorites… Ya gotta love the Rock… hes just too much fun. I find all the characters amusing actually… I’m getting excited just thinking about it! 😉

The Rock cracks me up. Chris Jericho has his hilarious moments too. Kurt Angle, though – he’s such a bad actor that it is actually physically painful for me to watch him…

Ha I get 3 different wrestling newsletters by email. And must watch Raw and Smackdaown every Monday and Thursday night or I feel cheated. I have also been known to watch WCW on Monday nights (the second showing) and Wensday nights.
I haven’t been to a live show in years but if I get the chance I will go again.

Sealemon? Ear plugs. I cannot stress this enough. I went to a monster truck show last February and, I swear, I couldn’t hear clearly for almost a week. It sucked. The show was great though. 🙂
As for the rest of the thread, I’m ashamed to admit that I actually know who/what you’re talking about. I haven’t watched wrestling in months though, I swear.

I once went to a RAW last year. It was great. I had front row seats. Stone Cold was beating the crap out of Triple H, and they went over the barricade… and before the security guards got there to hold everyone back, I got to smack Triple H in the head. It was so fucking cool!!!

The only recent WWF news I’ve heard over here recently is that Yokozuna (called “Yoko Zuna” for some reason in the UK) died in a hotel room in Leeds about three days ago.

Sometimes. Stephanie McMahon is really cheesy. Kurt Angle’s pretty corny, too, but he’s still funny as hell ('cuz he’s corny). Guys like X-Pac and Eddie Guererro(sp?) were never too great. However, the Rock is still in prime condition (who else saw his impression of Angle? “Milk has lots of calcium. Drinking milk is good for you.”) And Jericho… man, that guy should do stand-up. “Who cares about you?!? Who cares about Raisin?!?”
