# WWI as a bar fight . . .

There was a hillarious thread some years back describing World War One as a bar brawl. The metaphor was remarkably accurate (as far as my historical knowledge goes) and I was greatly amused by it. However, I looked for it a while back and my search skills failed me. Anyone have a linky? Do threads retire or die after a while? (Seems unlikely as the occasional zombie illustrates).

Also, if this is a MPSIMS, please move it.
