It’s definitely getting more exciting. I’m not exactly sure what their plan is at this point though. It’s not like they can stop the flood or help their tribe run away faster. Maybe their knowledge of the scope of the coming disaster combined with the maps will help though. The big question is: can beret girl be saved? ---

Presumably, their plan is to use the stolen map to lead the tribe safely to high ground, rather than have everyone get stuck on a hill and then drown when the water encircles them. It doesn’t look like they know how to swim. The sea they lived by was apparently hypersaline to the point where you could float effortlessly in it, while the water pouring in isn’t. ---

This explains why they were so freaked out when Cueball lost his gear in the river. They knew that river water was deadly to swim in, but water from the sea was safe. ---

I think their previous sea must have been really salty like the Dead Sea. They seem befuddled on how you swim when the sea doesn’t hold you up. ---
