There have been references to both “the river” and “the sea”, so it looks to me like he was seeing which one was closest/dominant. Maybe a tidal estuary. It isn’t a surf beach. ---

I don’t think it’s seawater. Megan was gagging when she got of mouthful of it when they went swimming. Something weirder than “a day at the beach” is going on. ---

Yeah, OK, it’s still going. Come to think of it though, why does Aubron Wood only have 500 frames? If it’s changed every 30 minutes for the past 16 days, then we should have over 750 by now, or am I figuring something wrong? ---
