[XKCD 2231](https://xkcd.com/2231/): The Time Before and After Land. I get the joke with before/after land and thyme, but where do the bees fit in? Is it just “before” -\> “for bees”?

WAG: For some reason, he was thinking about the title “The Land Before Time” and playing around with various permutations in his mind, came up with “Time For Land Bees,” and it took off from there.
