No. Technically, “tithe” means “tenth-part,” and indicates the amount to go to the Church. But the only references to it are Old Testament.
Yeah, the foundation really does give a lot. I personally know 12 people thare going to Ivy League/ Top Unis because of the Millenium Scholarship. I’m not sure what all the scholarship includes or how many people it is given to, but I think it includes:
Schooling through a masters degree at the school of your choice (books, tuition, housing, and some spending money)
A free (top of the line) desktop and laptop with all the accessories each year.
Just my friends’ tuition will total well a couple million dollars. On top of that, I’m sure they aren’t the only ones getting that scholarship.
