After getting server errors out the ass last week, I was able to start up the league I am the commishioner for (finally!) just now. Are somewhat longtime lurkers eligible? I’ve been reading the board since fall of 1999 and finally signed up in the spring. What if I said I was a die hard football fan(atic) who sits down for the entire day on Sundays from the pre-game show (prefer ESPN), the morning game (West Coast guy here), the afternoon game and the ESPN night game and who also catches as much of the Monday night game as work allows? ---

I probably can’t make the draft, but a league full of Dopers is a dream come true. I don’t want to take an active drafter’s choice, but if Satan says to do it, I most surely will. ---

Mullie: You are perfectly free to skip the draft if you wish! Just don’t complain about your4 team afterwards… 😉 I would suggest that you rank at least a couple dozen players in your order of preference if you are not going to participate in the draft. Uhhh hijack… My friends and I signed up for the Snadbox version. We need one more person for the league. It’s a live draft that will take place on Saturday so you need approximately 2-3hours of time reserved for that day. Thanks. ---

Satan, I wouldn’t complain about adding up to 3 teams for a total of 15. And if Dopers speak up let them in. You set up a short roster, only 7 offensive starters. If you add more teams a shorter bench (20 seems high for such a short roster) is probably a good idea. Or you can leave it as is too. I don’t really care. I’d basically guess how many good quarterbacks there are, if the number of teams gets too big the first draft choice becomes more important. Weigh the pros and cons and let us know. ---

I’m with Omni…I think we only need a 15 man bench. And then open it up to 15 teams. Of course, if you don’t want to, that’s fine with me too!!! 🙂 And grrrr…I hate having TE as a separate position…but ah well. I’ll live. ---

I don’t want to do 15 teams because that would make it an odd number and someone would have a BYE every week. I am expanding it to 16 teams and making it a 15-person roster.
