# Yahoo Log-In

If this has been addressed, I did not find it in a search.

Lately, when I log in to Yahoo’s e-mail, I will type the address in the space provided, then hit tab for the password and the cursor appears in the next field, but _sometimes_ the cursor jumps back to the address field and suddenly I am typing my password into **that** field, and have to start over.

Help, please?

That often happens if the page has not stopped displaying when you hit the Tab key. When the display is complete, the page refreshes with the cursor in the first box on the page.

Solution is to be patient before hitting Tab and keeping an eye on the cursor.

Sorry to bring this up again, but no, that doesn’t work.

1. I enter my user name
2. Wait (15-20 seconds long enough)?)
3. Hit Tab **or** use the mouse to place the cursor into the next field.
4. Cursor jumps back up to the first field
5. **Then** I repeat (move cursor to next field) , and **then** it works correctly.

I can’t believe that this is peculiar to just one computer and never happens with others I use.
