I think it could be a fun exercise to see who can make the closest guess for the exact date [Yakuza’s](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/search.php?searchid=7851521) last post on the SDMB will be. If you are unfamiliar with Yakuza’s posting history, he’s the guy who has the 13 year plan inspired by God to sleep in the wilderness, so he can spend his money on hookers instead of housing. He’s the guy who posts in the “2 = to, two, too” and “4 = for, four, and presumably also fore” style. In order to play, you must predict a specific date, and whether it will be due to a ban (and what the ban will be for). Ties will be resolved by whoever comes closest to guessing the reason he stops posting. I’ll start with my prediction: April 15, 2012 - banned after being discovered as a sock troll. ---

The guy’s too kooky. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t butt up against some infraction within a week, so I’ll say April 7. And it’s escorts, not hookers, and they have to be at least a 7, or a 6 if they have some kind of extraordinary body feature. 😃 ---

Below is a post by **Reply** in one of Yakuza’s threads. I agree with it wholeheartedly. I’d like to think I am a member of a board that doesn’t bully people when they’re down. Some might say: “If he doesn’t like the responses, he can just leave”. But after a while, a poster may feel he has a vested interest, that he HAS to get some acknowledgement from those he mock him. It is a sort of psychological trap. One in which a person can’t stop digging when he is in a hole. All other posters have is a vested interest in a good mock-and-laugh. * * * What’s with all this unnecessary teasing? So the OP can’t exactly spell by SDMB standards, and he has a way oversimplifying things to the annoyance of many, but listen to what he’s actually trying to say (I hope this is a fair paraphrase): 1. I have a hard time getting girlfriends who aren’t paid, and there are others like me. 2. Despite what people think, it’s not because my standards for physical attractiveness are exceptionally high – she just has to be in the top 40% to 30% by my judgment. [Reply: That’s like one in every 3 or 4 women, not a particularly tough or abnormal selection criterion, is it?] 3. This isn’t because I don’t value any other traits, but because women who I feel no physical chemistry towards simply don’t turn me on to the point where I want to be with them and/or show them to my family. Still, I’d rather choose a passably attractive woman with a good heart rather than a drop-dead-gorgeous woman without one. 4. [Reply: It is implied and explained later that he can’t be with the women of his dreams] Left with either women I don’t find attractive or attractive women who I have to pay for, I choose the latter [out of desperation]. 5. [Later on] I think all of this is because I have a low-income job. Now, I don’t know about #4… but is anything else he’s trying to say really that controversial? How many of you would really want to be with somebody you don’t find at least tolerably attractive? And would you really altogether deny that income plays a role in mate selection, not always, but often enough that it’s probably something a male (typically) should at least be slightly concerned about? I know this is the Dope and all, where we value non-abbreviation and punctuation almost as a religion unto itself, but really… can we at least TRY to comprehend the substance of his post? For example, so maybe income isn’t as big a factor as he believes. Fine, let him know. But the rest of the mocking, slamming, etc… this isn’t even the Pit. What the heck? ---
