# Yale conservatives taunt hunger strikers with barbecue

The 8 fasters are really fasting. There are people on “stand by” in case any of the fasters get too weak. I’m local and over the years have been involved with the various unions and organizations supporting them, so I have a tiny bit of insider knowledge here.

Their next move is to change all of their names to “Jane” and start selling jams and jellies.

Yeah. I don’t much like hunger strikes, but at least they have commitment to a cause. Even if I don’t agree with it, I wouldn’t be acting like a child. But then, conservatives have a child leading them, so what can you expect.
