# Y'all Scare Me When I Get A Blank Screen

There are occasional time-outs that last five minutes or so, like the one that happened about half an hour ago.

When these happens, no one is getting in, including mods and admins, so we’re unable to make an announcement – and, as I said, the outages generally last only a few minutes.

We do make announcements during periods when we know the Boards will be down for a significant amount of time.
