The term is derogatory towards lower class “Blacks”. It was invented by middle and upper class “Blacks”. I first became familiar with its use on “Black Twitter” a few years ago. Historically, middle and upper class “Blacks” have been very hostile towards the culture and lifestyle choices of lower class “Blacks” because they believe the culture hinders their efforts to be accepted into American society at large (IOW it has hindered their ability to become “White” like the Irish, Italians, and Jews). This term springs from this tradition and is also coupled with the newfound antagonism of young woke “blacks” towards “whites” in general. It is apparently offensive to thin-skinned white identitarians who have seen a surge in activity following the trump and sanders campaigns. ---

I’m also going to start referring to all black people as blacklist…to be honest I’ve been doing this in my head for years, I’m just going to be honest about it now. All other ethnicities will be grouped collectively as Slappypants. If anyone thinks this is a bad idea, blame the patriarchy, they made me do it. ---

And incidentally, “culled for the good of the herd” is something that people say _all the time_ when talking about idiots. Ever heard of the Darwin Awards, you thick fuck? Well, hell, I guess I’d have to encounter it in real life. Seems a bit precious.
