# Yay!  1,000 posts!

Now that my post count has four digits, I am a force to be reckoned with. No longer will I be ignored in Great Debates! My opinions matter!

Okay, not really. I thought I might start my way to 2,000 with a list of the dopers who have impressed me in one way or another during my 2+ years here.

**Polycarp** - I think this one goes without saying. I can’t think of a bad word that has ever been said about this guy.

**Bricker** - Your knowledge of the law and your sound debating tactics are an excellent example of how things should be done. Anyone who wishes to get into GD should read a few of this guy’s posts first.

**MEBuckner** - No, I am not kissing Mod butt for the sake of trying to circumvent the rules. You seem to have a vast knowledge of an amazing amount of things, and he _always_ has cites.

**Q.E.D.** - You came onto the SDMB scene with a bang and haven’t slowed down. You also seem to know a lot about a lot, and your willingness to share it is what this website is all about.

**Ben** - You probably don’t remember, but you and I got off to a bad start way back in the day in an evolution/creationism thread. Still, your knowledge of science and Biology in particular never ceases to amaze and impress me.

Okay, that’s about it for the shout-outs. Here’s to this website, and here’s to another two years and another 1,000 posts!

I’d like to think so. I could probably hit 2,000 by the end of 2003 if I posted a whole lot of meaningless drible.
