And, of course, this stuff refers to flat Dr. Pepper. Sure, the carbonation is all well and good, but my favorite soda is flat Dr. Pepper. Granted, it has to be cold, but the flatness of it lets taste come through that otherwise is obscured by the bubbles. Anybody else like foods that are slightly aged? ---

I like flat Ginger Ale. And I like it warm, too. Warm, flat Ginger Ale, it’s not just for illness anymore. And cold pizza for breakfast. mmmmm… ---

Damn, this isn’t what I thought it was going to be about. Oh well. Maybe in another thread! Anyway… lots of things are better after sitting in the refrigerator 3-4 days. Chili, potato salad, homade vegetable soup, chicken and noodles, and meat loaf. I also like to eat stale potato chips with hot sauce on them! ---

Anything spicy gets better after it sits for awhile. I cook alot of things and freeze them (for hubby’s convenience as I work long hours and he usually cooks supper) and they are better when reheated than they are when they are first cooked. Ex: lasagna, ravioli, meatballs, japanese style chicken wings… and so on. Cold pizza, for breakfast, especially after a night out is _the best!!_ ---

Mr. Pibb SUCKS ASS. Dr pepper is the greatest soda/pop/softdrink/sodapop ever. Flat warm almost frozen it dosent matter. ---

Cookies. They _must_ sit in the jar at _least_ 4 days. Makes’em crunchy! Yum! Also I second chili being best when aged. When I was stationed in England we took our Christmas break, and when we returned to work we discovered half a crockpot of chili left out for a week. Fortunately, the heat was off in the building. It hadn’t turned into a science experiment yet, so we plugged it back in, and boy was it good! ---

I cannot drink ANY soda type drink unless it is flat. I can’t really go champagne either unless it is without bubbles and DON’T get me started on mineral water. (hijack. When travelling around Eastern Europe almost only water they sell is carbonated. I spent the whole trip shaking up bottles and making it go flat…Sheesh . Okay end of hijack) ---

To me, Dr Pepper is best when it’s just slightly cool, and has lost most (but not all) of its carbonation…mmm… Of course, I’m drinking a cold Cherry Pepsi right now, but that’s the best available in this building. ---
