Has anyone bought their last CD yet? I’ve heard two songs, Maps and Date with the Night…is the rest of their stuff just as good? Am I the only one who sees a resemblance between the lead and Chrissie Hynde?

Also, can anyone recommend other bands of this genre?

Yes. There are even better songs on the record, imho, like Y Control and Black Tongue.  
Other excellent bands in the same vein are The Kills and Von Bondies

I love the YYYeahs. I hear more Siouxzie and Lene Lovich, little bit of Diamanda, in her voice, more than CHynde.
