How about this one: Why would a Heat _Miser_ want it to be hot anywhere but where he is? ---

Yes, but the Heat _Miser_ should not want to share his heat with anyone. That character is more like a Heat Spendthrift. ---

Up until recently, I thought it was _Meister_. That would probably make more sense. ---

[/QUOTE] You may be mixing it up with another Rankin-Bass special, _Santa Claus Is Coming To Town_, where the villain is Burgermeister Meisterburger, who outlaws toys. This is the one with the Winter Wizard in the forest, and the song [“You Put One Foot in Front of the Other”](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ugc65WMV7Z0). ---

I thought they were one-in-the same, too. I watched \*Santa Clause is Coming to Town \* all the way through, wondering where the misers went. My childhood memories throw “one foot in front of the other” in the same Christmas special as “heat miser” and “snow miser.” A mind is a terrible thing to waste. ---
