How do multiple yellow cards in different games work in the Euro 2004 competition? As an example, England’s Wayne Rooney was yellow carded in tonight’s game; does an additional yellow card in the next game mean he sits out one or more matches? Are there any other penalties?

Are slates wiped after the group stage? Do yellows need to be in consecutive matches for further punishments to be activated?

Any other interesting things I should know about yellow cards?

Thanks, GorillaMan. I did look all over the official site but missed that one.
