I have a Hotmail account, and as such, whenever I check my e-mail, I get links to what are usually fluff news stories. Today, I saw one that read “What is yellowcake?” “Yellow cake with pink frosting!” I thought, harking back to the old AOL board. “Maybe they’ll have a recipe I can use!” Click. "Oh. :smack: **Oh**. Oh, poop on you, **peri**! My computer froze, and you posted while I was getting back to this thread! Yes, **RangerJeff** was a poster on the old AOL board. When asked what he wanted for his birthday, he was adamant in his request for yellow cake with pink frosting. (Much more tasteful than **HpstrDufuz** ’s plea for “a car full of hookers and a big pile of blow.) Both of these became board catchphrases, even, IIRC, predating “Hi Opal!” Meanwhile, “yellowcake” (one word), is [milled uranium oxide, known to chemists as U3O8.](http://slate.msn.com/id/2085848/) Also, check out the cartoon at the top of [this page](http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/DeadEvilSons/1.asp). ---
