Thank you thank you thank you!! All of you! I should say, this isn’t my first trip to college. This is more about changing my life. When I graduated from high school, I started going to a local university. . . I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but waiting to go to college didn’t seem like an option. After a year and a half there, I dropped out for a semester, hoping that I could get it together enough to come back and finish and get on with my life. I did go back, and I did finish, but I never felt like I was doing what I _should_ be doing. I got my Associates degree, but in the back of my mind, I wanted to go back to school. So for two years I’ve been working in a restaurant. Restaurant? I haven’t been able to find a job where I live using my degree that will pay me more than I make at the restaurant job. I hate it here where I live. It seems like I don’t know anybody who wants anything better for themselves. Ever since I got out of college the first time, I’ve felt pretty much worthless. Anyway. Seven or eight months ago, this crazy idea popped into my head. ‘_I’ll move to Columbus and go back to school at Ohio State!_’ So I got busy working on it. I never really questioned whether or not I’d get accepted, but this is more like the beginning of new things for me. I might like living in Columbus, I might not. If I don’t like it, I’m young enough to go somewhere else. The point is, I’m taking a step in a different direction and it feels good. I’m really excited. 😃 ---
