~$8.50 to $9.00/hr…starting…and can end up being ~$14.00/hr. with merit raises. Not a large ransom for jewels such as these…and we are on the high end of the scale…but that’s social services sector for ya, but considering that only HS education or GED is a base requirement, it’s not too bad. ---

Maybe this would work, maybe not, but couldn’t you just say you were prejudiced against whatever race the defendent/plaintiff? Just tell the judge you hate people who are: black/asian/latino/italian/polish/british/wasp/canadian/irish/etc. But be sure to insert the appropriate racial epitaph. 🙂 ---

Actually, during pre-selection, the judge asks those present to acknowledge that they are of sound mind and good moral character. That was an easy out right there.
