Mine is properly pronounced like “Gaw-day-ray” but I don’t know anyone outside of Latin speakers who would say it like that. I also answer to “Gaw-dehr”, “Gaw-deer”, “Gaw-dy(Gaudy)” and “Gawd(Gaud)”.
