I am **not** a bleedin’ data entry clerk! 83 pages of a .pdf document. I don’t understand why they can’t send me a spreadsheet that can be read electronically. ---

Did I miss some **Swampy** news? I notice he’s not posting. **Mooommm** the daycare costs you mention sound so low that I’d be worried about the care provided. One alternative might be to find a playgroup that she could join. My MRIs results are a confusing miss-mash to me. I don’t read the images of course, but the reports are usually pretty legible. This one was full of (to me) contradictions and inconsistencies. I guess I’ll wait and see if it means anything important. I need more coffee and then I shall contemplate other activities. It’s too early to commit to any, of course. 😛 ---

I took a quick look and there are several .pdf doc parsers available. Several offer trials, so maybe you could use your 83-page beast as your test case. It’s probably not worth doing for a short doc, but 83 pages sounds like it might be worth a look. ---

Good evening all Today was gorgeous outside, but we didn’t get outside until after 6pm, due to work and German class. Still warm enough we could go for a walk without jackets, which is quite nice. Hubby bought an AppleTV and a new receiver, and got both today, so he’s playing with the AppleTV. The receiver we have currently got ⅓ of the HDMI inputs fried in an electrical storm some years ago, so we can only connect the TV and Blu Ray with HDMI. The DVD player, which we have for region 1 DVDs, only has a composite video connection. So getting the AppleTV means the receiver has to be upgraded. And the price is a better than it was just one year ago. Installing the new receiver will be Sunday’s fun. Work was crazy, and shall be for some time. Hopefully something gets resolved without some kind of blow up. Opened a bottle of something red from Sicily for today’s lunch, so I’m working on that this evening. Be well. ---

Well, shoot. Turns out I was advised to keep the stitches in too long, so my body started reacting to them. Now the area is slightly red and mildly seepy. Hopefully it’ll clamp its little self up. What a bunch of BS for a tiny number of stitches. On the bright side, I found a vaccine appointment for my husband - yay! He argued with me about it, “Dang, overly, I wanted to go together.” “But it’s not exactly a date. Get it when you can.” Anywho, he relented, so at least one of us will be partway protected after this weekend. ---

The daycare I mentioned is affiliated with a fundy church, so I wouldn’t take her there anyway. I know the price isn’t that terrible, but I also know Daughter can’t afford it right now and I’m not going to subsidize them any more. Their next door neighbor has a daughter who’s a year younger than Roxy, so maybe this summer they’ll start to play together some. Unfortunately, Wiggle-Giggle isn’t starting back any time soon, so that’s out. For the time being, I’ll take her to the playground when I can, and her parent take her to their neighborhood playground pretty frequently. Dunno what we’ll do for supper, but daughter just arrived to claim her spawn, so yay! ---

I’ve looked into that in the past, and the trials let you parse like three pages. I found out that the member uses Woodpro software, so I’ve contacted the company to see if their software has the capability to export files in a machine-readable format such as Excel or fixed-position text. If so, I might be able to convince the vendor to export it that way. Then I can write a program to grab what I need and write it out into a usable layout. ---

The Chik Fil A drive through lanes here are full most of the day. As for me the cons listed by our friend Shoe are all deal breakers for me. I have tried the sandwich. It is OK but not as good as Popeye’s. ---

I’ve gone to Chik-Fil-A when I was with others who wanted to go. I was underwhelmed - honestly, I don’t see what the big deal about it is. I’d call it an OK sandwich, but I find their politics abhorrent, and the “my pleasure” mantra is irritating. Frankly, I think McD’s buttermilk chicken biscuit is better. ---

Back from the frustration fest that is an eye doctor appointment for me. The corneal specialist is nice. He wishes he had answers. He doesn’t. He doesn’t know why I’m losing some near vision or why I can’t see better, particularly out of the left eye, where the graft looks good but the vision is lousy. I’m trying to focus on the good news, which is no sign of rejection or recurrent iritis, as if I do otherwise I’ll start throwing things. **Sunny** , hope the doc can figure out the confusingly written MRI report. I know you must have a fair amount of expertise in those by now. When do you see him/her? **FCM** , playdates sound like just the ticket. 🙂 I miss your recaps of her Wiggle Giggle days. Hope they start up soon. **Flyboy** , hope your day gets less frustrating. ---

We went to Red Robin because I had a hankerin’ for a burger and I was just too beat to cook. I had half a sauteed 'shroom burger with broccoli on the side. And the half burger was 385 calories!!! Yoiks! I’d decided before we got there that I was only going to have half, so I ordered a to go box right away. Otherwise, I’d have eaten the whole thing and been stuffed. Instead, I feel satisfied. Well, as satisfied as one can feel when it’s not chocolate. 😉 I think we’re both going to crash early tonight. I haven’t decided if I’ll use Mel or wine. But frankly, I don’t think it matters - I’m beat! And no Roxy tomorrow, so yay for that! ---

Welcome back **baker**! I have no advice to a pro about cake baking. It’s been a few years since I’ve baked one. **shoe** , part of my short staffed issue is with cycle counters. The company only hires temps that can’t go permanent for up to a year and don’t pay in line with some of the other places around here, so we’re on a merry-go-round of them. Bad or inexperienced counters make my job harder. I hope that your ouchy gets better soon **wordy**. I’m with **hippy** re the chicken sammiches, but, like **doggio** , more into Bojangles. Today was a better day at irk. I think my boss is beginning to realize how much some of the crap is wearing on me. I just hope that they backfill all of the open positions in my department soon. When we were at the end of our walk this afternoon, the neighbor’s mom, who is housesitting, let Molly, the Australian shepherd out to do her business. I let Nelson off his leash for a while so that they could play and a good time was had by all. 🙂 Stay safe and healthy y’all! ---

Howdy Y’all! I laundered, sent a 'script request to the pharmacy, made sup, et sup, and cleanded up the kitchen. I feel so productive! UMMMMM… I posted this mornin’ y’all. 7:06 A.M, EDT to be exact. Ick Fil A is just that to me. ICK! I do not like the taste of their chikin at all. Their soup is OK, but I can make it better myself. ---

Looks like we’ve got nasty weather in store tomorrow afternoon, so all outside chores need to be done early. **FCD** picked up some heavy equipment in Fredericksburg and we need to get it into the shop before it rains. Once that’s done, I hope to finish raking the back yard - it’s full of sticks and gum tree pods. Then for the rest of the day, who knows? For now, I’m showered and about ready to head to bed. Here’s hoping I can sleep thru. ---

I walked 7 miles today, and my feet are swollen. I’m going to bless them with a hot bath in a bit. I am soooo tired. I’ll go to bed early because I expect a call about half-past Swamp and FCM Wake-up Time to announce the arrival of my new great-niece. (Note I did not say they woke up together. We won’t go down _that_ road again.) **doggio** , I would never throw anything at you except a smile. **Moooom** , I’m not surprised Red Robin burgers are calorific. I admire your self-discipline in not devouring the whole thing. What surprised me was the calories in Panera sandwiches. Some of them are over 800 calories, and they’re not huge. **wordy** , that ER doc clearly never heard that a stitch out in time saves whine. I’d be whining up a storm if I were you. Hope it heals fast. **cupcake** , seeing you here was the frosting on the cake!
