I think Del Toro then would make like a remake of Dr. No and have the mechanical monster of Dr. No, that kept the villagers away from his compound, to have a larger part on the movie. 
He spent several years (I think) in a North Korean prison, where his beard grew long and grizzled. After his release, he kept it for a reel or two until he could clean up.
It did NOT look good on him.

Anyway – on to the living and the OP: I’m really looking forward to Skyfall; Quantum of Solace was a letdown from Casino Royale, but the latter set an extraordinarily high bar. At least it didn’t have an “invisible” car. I like Mendes’ other work, and I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Ticket sold.
Geez. He shouldn’t have gone and died like that before making the next James Bond film.
This is great news. As someone who would watch James Bond in “Agent 007 Reads The Manhattan Phone Directory” as long as it involved Daniel Craig, I cannot wait.
If they could somehow squeeze Liam Neeson into the film, I would be gobsmacked.
