As one who has also gone through a divorce, just let me say I understand and wish you the best. It’s a huge shock and adjustment, even if it’s something you want (as was my case). Wow that sucks. Assuming your representation that it’s big surprise is accurate and you haven’t been crazy or abusive etc. , and you really are mystified about the cause, don’t beat yourself up. The vast majority of the time in these scenarios despite claims to the contrary by the dumping party, it’s another man or woman somewhere in the picture, or an old flame they reconnected with that they have crush on, or have hooked up with personally or virtually. Don’t be emotional to the point of foolishness. Protect yourself. If this has been sprung on you chances are she has all her ducks in a row already. ---
