The object of THIS word game, instead of defining made up words, or linking user-names, is to go from one word to another of equal length in as few moves as possible changing only one letter at a time, no adding or subtracting of letters. After one person solves a puzzle, they suggest transition words for the next person. And obviously you have to use REAL words. Hint: Names are good starting or ending words to use, although proper nouns are not allowed in between starting and finishing words. **Task One** Go from “James” to “Smart” James **T** ames Ta **r** es **P** ares Par **k** s P **e** rks Per **m** s **T** erms Te **a** ms Tea **r** s **S** ears S **t** ars Star **t** S **m** art Understand? **Task Two** “Rob” to “Ego” Also make sure the word chains are possible. This example may seem hard, but I was able to complete it. Have fun, and go to it. ---

The object is for the person who answers the task to suggest a new task. But here’s how I did it (minus fancy coding because I’m just too damn tired): Rob Rib Rid Aid Add Ado Ago Ego But it is good to see people actually THINKING about this stuff…I guess I just do this way to much though because I find this stuff entertaining, not brain-exploding. Ok, now, after you solve this transition, suggest one of your own…please. Go from “Jess” to “Love” That one is ass-easy, so no brain exploding there… ---

That one is hard! This is the best I could do: **jake** **b** ake b **i** ke bi **d** e **a** ide aid **s** a **d** ds ad **e** s a **l** es ale **e** **glee** Not so sure if ‘ades’ counts … as in lemonades and orange-ades, I always considered ‘ade’ or ‘ades’ to be its own word. If not, then … from ‘aids’… ai **l** s a **l** ls al **e** s ale **e** **glee** _nods_ And um … the reason very few people are posting other ones, I imagine, is because they’re hard to make certain they can work? How about … bird → walk? Really easy but it’s the only one I can think of that I know for certain will work 🙂 I’d hate to put one up that is unsolveable! 🙂 ---
