Wow, the three cats you mention all sound like they’ve led corporate office lives.
Eve, has your mom changed their usual brand of kitty litter? I tried to introduce Pumpkin to clumping litter and noticed a few days later that he was losing hair on his back legs. Since the litter was the only big difference in his life, I went back to his old brand and the hair grew back.
Seems to be two different issues. Am I right: Eve’s mom’s cat is biting his fur off; the hair’s not mysteriously coming off so that one may guess the brand of kitty litter may be at cause.
I hate to encourage you, Asspa, but I thought it possible he was already losing fur from a source of irritation and his biting and licking of the most affected areas only exacerbated the problem.
