# Yet another "name that song" (70's C&W)

or I least I SEEM to remember it from the 70’s…

Anyway, while amassing ammo for [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=106748) , I tried to look up a fragment of lyrics. While I usually remember enough of such drect to pass, even Google couldn’t help with this one (or I need to get to know Google better).

The lines I remember:

“If you mention my song in your song,  
I’ll mention your song in mine”

and

“It’s ain’t like we’re kissing ass  
When it’s each others ass we’re kissing”

anybody have this one wasting gray matter?
