# Yet Another Pick-a-Doper Thread

Okay, we’ve done who you like/respect, who you (would) flirt with, who doesn’t annoy you… let’s get a tough one:
Based on your current state of knowledge about people (IRL meetings, photos, etc., can be included), if you were single and looking for a husband/wife, **what Doper would you choose to marry, and why**? Assume that any marriage is legal – if you are gay, you’re doing it in the Netherlands (with **Coldie** standing up as a witness!); if your choice happens to be a 15-year-old that you really like, assume you’re in Tennessee and have consent.
(Extra points for the person who guesses what my answer would be.)

You’d do **Fenris** in a heartbeat.
Mine’s toss up between **Fairy Chat Mom** , if she’d have me, because I like her sense of humor, she’s clever, and she cooks a MEAN chocolate cake.
The other would be **jinwicked** because she’s very pretty and very talented and seems cool like me.

Do they have to be active posters at the moment?
If not I would choose either Upham or DPR.
Out of the active posters Coldfire. We don’t really interact very much but he just does something for me. I can’t explain it.

**Garius** : I’d intended to say that Doper spouses could not pick each other in the OP – assume it to be a part of the rules.
Also, you cannot choose yourself: **Pravnik** and **Shirley** , choose again. You may assume that you will get consent – the idea is to name who you’d choose if they were willing.

Why not? I’d marry **lee** except that doing so is illegal everywhere that I can think of (even the Netherlands).

It’d have to be **Rue** , my #1 Special Friend because he _always_ makes me laugh. Plus he grooms dogs, so I know my Bernie would always be pretty! 😃 So that fact that he’s married and I’m married and we live 1000 miles apart and he’s 13 years younger - none of that matters!

**Welby** , nope. **Fenris** and I have most of the same tastes, but he doesn’t do anything for me, even if I “decided to go gay.” But anything he recommends, from new SF to matzoh ball soup, goes on my list of “try this” simply because we think so much alike in some ways.
You guys gotta do why as well as naming the person – otherwise it’s no fun! 🙂
