My cousin Clay. Best shot I ever saw. I once walked off a hundred paces with a beer can, and he put a round right through the middle, first shot. Got a deer at twelve, put the shot right be behind the front haunch, straight through the heart. Deer didn’t even flinch, just dropped like a puppet who’s strings had been cut. I remember him staring at the deer while all of our uncles gathered round and pounded him on the back and shoulders. He just stared. Damndest thing. He could still hit just about anything he could see. Open sight, of course, 'scopes were for people we had names for but had never met any. Went out with the uncles to the deer lease maybe a dozen times, never got one. Always missed. Like I said, damndest thing… ---

Gawdammm, boy - the Tsarnaevs could have stayed in hiding, escaped somewhere quietly, forced LE to find them the old-fashioned way, which could have included tracing taggants if they’d been present. But no, they came out, killed a cop, carjacked a guy, etc. Yes, it was in the news, too. _That’s_ “turning themselves in”. You sad, sick fool. ---
