# Yet another "What do I wear ?" thread

So, I’m going to old College friend’s house for an all-night party 23rd December.

People I haven’t seen in person for nearly 5 years (but keep in touch with via Facebook etc).  
I want to look nice- you know, haven’t-let-myself-go-despite-the-baby thing, but I don’t know what to wear.

I’m think pitch it smart casual- top and jeans with boots, or dress with boots, but I’m not sure.

I’m short and slim with biggish boobs.

Any ideas?

I think jeans and boots and a really stylish (but comfortable) sweater is a great idea. Have a blazer to go with it and you’re set!

I’d say avoid the dress because (as a pessimist) I’d say chances are you don’t look as good as you used to in one. Remember, your images of people are from 5years ago, and theirs of you is also 5 years old! Even at 23 I don’t look as cute as I did at 17 😉

Wear cute jeans, a fitted top, boots or nice loafers. Maybe even have a blow-out (have your hair done at a salon) the day of.

Oh, and have a full backup outfit in case you spill anything!

I would go with boots…boots always make me feel awesome. Throwing on a blazer or even just a scarf will really pull your outfit together.

Hard to go wrong with jeans and a flattering top. Although I personally prefer dresses - I think they flatter me more (and I have a similar figure as the OP). A dress that fits well + heels of some sort makes up for my short-ness.
