I just walked into the kitchen looking for something to drink and BAM! a bird flew out from behind the curtains right by my head! I have no idea how it got into my house, but it scared the crap out of me. I guess the cats will have some fun with this if I cant get it out of the house somehow. Well, I guess I’ll try to find it and scare it out the door somehow. ---

I have located the intruder. He is now fly franically back and fourth in the “livingroom” (a cavernous room that is about 45’ by 25’ and has a 10’ ceiling, this room is unused bc it costs too much to heat) while chirping loudly. I attemted to go over to the door to the outside, but the little sucker dived at me. Time for attempt 2. ---

I’ve had avian intruders a couple of times. Get a large bath towel and throw it over the bird; you can then take it outside and release it. Good luck! ---

No catching was required; I just opened the door and he flew right out. I still have no idea how he got in though. ---

There is an old, unused chimney that I have hear birds in before, but there are no uncovered openings to it in the house. I live in a very old drafty house, maybe there is an opening under an eve somewhere.
