I opposed the war. Not because I didn’t think we could win it, but because I don’t think war is right. I held no hope that we would _not_ pursue a course to war. For me, though, opposing the war, even in the miniscule way that I am able, is a moral imperative. In other words–no crow for me. ---

Read some history to put “I don’t think war is right” in perspective. Prior to WWII a lot of people didn’t think war was right. A whole lot of Americans didn’t think it was right or in our best interests to worry about some European problem. A lot of people died in horrible camps because other nice, peaceful people didn’t want to get involved. ---

Yipee, yahoo, were going to war! We get to celebrate people being maimed, torn to bits, blinded, amputated and killed. Isn’t that just totally fabulous? Innocent people will no longer have houses to live in until we make more for them. Or was that part of the plan. Oh well it doesn’t matter; most of those people are guilty right? I mean our prez can say who is guilty and whose not, right? There won’t be long distance bombing of just a general area where there might be a hidden enemy, right? So let’s have a toast to all our boys that will come back with some new kind of sickness and a lot of which will be miserable for a shortened life span. Hey a long lingering, painful death with no hope for a cure isn’t so bad is it. Right?:rolleyes: ---
