You were started by an ubernerd. You are run by a herd of ubernerds. So why the FUCK do all of your goddamned videos play AT FULL FUCKING VOLUME ALL THE GODDAMN TIME WITH NO MEMORY OF THE LAST 1000 TIME I TURNED YOUR SHITSTAIN OF A VIDEO PLAYER DOWN TO ACCEPTABLE LEVELS??? Seriously I got my shit hooked up to a sweet Bose sound system so I can rock the beats not listen to cats fuck at 150db. Fix your shit already. Also to every web developer/host/jackass with a site? the same thing goes for you. You do not need media that plays when people go to your site, let alone loud ass crap. ---

I would demand a refund, or at least a coupon for 1/2 half off Facebook use. ---

[File a bug report](http://www.facebook.com/help/326603310765065/). Facebook has been surprisingly responsive to issues I’ve raised and a number of them get fixed within a month. I don’t understand why people complain about things in places a company is unlikely to read instead of in places companies set up specifically so they can get your feedback. ---

Just because Facebook doesn’t cost my any cash hardly means it is free. They have a vested interest in keeping their base happy because that keeps their advertisers happy. Relating to the video issue? This shit has been going on for years. I was willing to put up with it when it was new but for fuck sake already. Its a little ritual with fb videos. Step 1, realize this is a Facebook video Step 2 turn down the main volume on my sound system step 3 click the video step 4 fuck around with the volume control on the video step 5 maybe fuck around with the main volume on my sound system step 6 try and get the main volume on my sound system back to its original some what carefully calibrated levels after watching said video. vrs every other common video site. step 1, click video step 2, enjoy ---

Dude! It’s especially bad on mobile uploads. The first time I played one, I about peed myself, and I’m sure I woke up a neighbor or two. My home computer is hooked up to the entertainment system in the living room. The home stereo itself is set higher than I normally would (read: 4 out of 10) because for whatever reason the TV and computer levels going in are way lower than the stereo’s native level - they’re set at max. Everything plays fine except two news-ish sites and Facebook vids that are all at max level, even the YouTube ones. They about blow me out of my chair if I forget to make adjustments prior to hitting play. The real trouble comes from mobile uploads - for some reason, those come through even higher and play at my stereo’s native volume, which in an apartment at 2am scares the neighbors, makes my cats fall out of their perches, makes me leap off my chair, and starts neighbor dogs barking. Not cool!
