I hadn’t spoken to mine in [10½ years](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/right-now-on-the-sixth-level-of-hell/978129); my regret was it wasn’t 11½ or 12½. The only Mother’s day I celebrated is where it is just the first half of the word.
