I can crack my daughter up at will just by lapsing into Yoda/Grover and saying, “Charlie, number three I need…” ---

You know, Muppet Babies did an episode where the babies were “in” Star Wars. Fozzie was Chewy. Yoda was Animal. Ah, back to childhood. . . ---

I recall it distinctly. Luke Pondhopper defeats Darth Animal(or was it Animal Vader) when Animal accidentaly slices a hole in the floor surrounding himself. Animal looks at the camera says ‘uh oh’ and falls. Re Frank Ozz- I keep hoping for an outtake of Yoda singing “I am Jedi, hear me roar.” Re-Yoda’s Grammar Way back when The Defenders went to another dimension to battle the Unnameable. Their great ally was a wizard named Xoox. He had IIRC 3 eyes, 3 arms, and 3 legs. He was covered in whitish fur and looked like he was made from left over teddy bear supplies. It was hard to take some one who looks like they belong at an 8 year old girl’s tea party seriously. It got harder whenever Xoox talked ``` "Glad I am to see you. Aroo. Aroo" "Plans make we must." "Protected here we are. Aroo. Aroo" ``` Sadly, I don’t have the issue explaining the Aroo Aroo. Does Xoox have a breathing problem? Is it the alien equivalent of umm? ---

I can’t find a cite at the moment, but I’m pretty sure that in an interview with Frank Oz or Jim Henson it was stated that Fozzie was named in tribute to the Muppets’ technical wizard [Faz Fazakas](http://us.imdb.com/Name?Fazakas,+Faz). It’s not listed in his IMDb filmography, but I’m pretty sure that after joining the Muppets for _The Muppet Musicians of Bremen_, he stayed on to work on the Muppet Show – y’know, doing on-set special effects and mechanical work. ---

I was at a conference where Jim Henson spoke, back in 1989. I got there late, and was seated where a pillar blocked my view of the stage. So when he spoke, all I could visualize was… the frog ! ---
