“I didn’t know I shouldn’t give medical advice” is a stupid position to defend. “I’m not the only one who skims a thread before posting” is a stupid argument to use. Someone who uses both and doubles down on not having done anything worth derision is a stupid person. ---

I’d like to suggest a compromise. Yog, feel free to keep proudly spouting ignorance - since you obviously will anyway - but from now on, try to refrain from posting in threads where your bad advice can cause people to die from massive infections? Or maybe even try not posting medical advice in general? A small concession, right? But it’d make a good start. ---

I was just fooling around with some chainsaws, and one slipped and now my hand is only attached to my wrist by a tendon…there is some blood, but I don’t feel any pain. Advice? ---
