There was a time when “I [heart] my [breed of dog” bumper stickers were popular. I’ve never been into bumper sticker myself, until I saw a roll of mini bumperstickers, circular, just the size to cover the heart on those other bumperstickers, with the image of a flat head wood screw on them. ---

I swear, I haven’t seen one since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House. They’re so retro, I’d be _thrilled_ if I saw one today. You know what else was cool? Those bumper stickers with “Get off my” and then a picture of a donkey. ---

You know, there actually is a safety message there, drivers routinely underestimate the safe distance between cars. If it makes a driver think for a moment and back away from the crazy, that’s not a bad thing. ---
