# You are eventually going to stub your toe again on a very hard surface and it's going to hurt a lot.

I broke my big toe walking up against a table leg. My mother, an RN, helped me strap my toes together, because she said there was no point in going to the ER. You can’t put a splint on a toe, after all. You should have seen all the colors it turned, before finally healing.

I stubbed my bug toe while decorating the Christmas tree years ago. (I was a bit toasted.) I lost my toenail a few weeks later. It still hasn’t grown back! It’s about half way.

I gave up trying to have an acrylic toenail, and just get a pedicure with a weird big toenail.
