YOU are Time Magazine's person of the year.

While I don’t exactly see where I said “bad old you” and also not quite sure you’ve actually mended the fences you say, I’ll drop out of this thread saying your defensive emotions were ,on reflection, justifiable and understandable.

I never noticed Walter before, but my experience in this thread inclines me to believe it would have been a waste of time. From now on, I’ll just assume he’s an idiot.

It looks to me like the three whistleblowers on Time’s 2002 POtY cover are now five-time winners, having won in 1966, 1969, 1975, 2002, and 2006: they were all alive and under 25 in 1966, from Middle America (1969) (Cynthia Cooper is from Clinton, MS, Sherron Watkins is from Tomball, TX, , and Colleen Rowley was an Army brat who grew up a bit of everywhere and went to college at Wartburg College in Iowa), they’re American women (1975), and they’re winners, along with the rest of us, this year.

You think this one’s controversial… wait until it’s “You People.”

Never heard of Time Magazine’s Person of the Year??? Tsk tsk. Who’s the idiot?

good one.
