I gave away the lighthouse cross stitch as soon as I got home last night, and forgot to take a picture of it, so I can’t show you that one, but here are the other ones that won ribbons. [Baby afghan 1](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/thirdwarning_2008/100_2154.jpg) [Baby afghan 2](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/thirdwarning_2008/100_2155.jpg) [Afghan](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/thirdwarning_2008/100_2157.jpg) [Basket](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/thirdwarning_2008/100_2159.jpg) And just for fun, here’s another prize-winner. [Or maybe the prize.](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/thirdwarning_2008/100_2153.jpg) ---

Wow, they give away babies as prizes at your State Fair! How kewl is that. 😃 If you win a baby for a baby afghan, does that mean you win a child age 2-10 for a Child’s Sweater? ---

Oh my gosh! They’re all so beautiful! (baby, too!) I’m head over heels in love with that big afghan! ---

The big one is now wrapped for the wedding gift it was made to be. The pattern is the one my mom used over and over, so it has some sentimental value for me. ---

[QUOTE=thirdwarning] The big one is now wrapped for the wedding gift it was made to be. The pattern is the one my mom used over and over, so it has some sentimental value for me. [/QUOTE] I understand. My Mum died in hospital but before going into a coma, was knitting baby clothes flat out (I was pregnant). None of the clothes ever fitted my son (he was ten pound born), but for the life of me, I can’t part with them either. 😉 ---

It’s very simple. I use it even though it’s in strips (which I hate to put together) because it’s easy and portable. Is email okay? ---

I guess my earlier post about this got eaten. **gigi** , that quilt is absolutely beautiful. Way too complicated for me, at this point, but maybe someday. Hey, a girl can dream, can’t she? Congratulations!
