A lobotomizer, combination shovel and battle axe. It’s from the book. And yeah relying on a loud weapon that requires ammo is a horrible idea, i’d take a machete over any gun. ---

Ah, Thanks. I didn’t remember that bit. Along the melee weapon line of thought, I’ve always had a problem with stories that had zombies that could infect you by biting you, but you could bash, slash, decapitate and all but bathe in their blood safely. I want no part of a melee weapon in the zombie apocalypse. Well, maybe something to push them away and/or break a leg so I can shoot them from a distance. ---

I’m surprised nobody thought of a bow/crossbow. The missiles are reusable, ranged, and quieter. Me, I’d get familiar with a good compound bow and either a hatchet or machete. Yeah its riskier, but eventually you’re gonna run out of bullets… :eek: ---
